We have recently had confirmation that our JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) accreditation has been successfully renewed. The JOSCAR accreditation mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in the defence community and indicates that we have demonstrated our commitment and credentials to the industry.
JOSCAR is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. The accreditation is supported by leading defence organisations including BAE Systems, Leonardo, Ministry of Defence and QinetiQ.
The JOSCAR supplier questionnaire involves a two-stage process. Stage 1 collects basic information about a supplier or third party to produce a profile on their legal entity, financial status and the nature of goods and services being supplied. Stage 2 requires the completion of a more detailed questionnaire along with supporting evidence, such as policies and certificates. The renewal process has involved input from departments across the business including Health and Safety, HR, IT, Finance and Export Control.
